A new Turkish cookery club has started

A new Turkish cookery club has started up in London and is offering classes for people who want to learn about the rich and varied cuisine.
Yemek Kulubu is the brainchild of Nur Gungor Eskioglu, who used to run her own restaurant in Turkey for many years and who has also worked with renowned restaurant chain Ozer in London.
Nur wanted to return to work after raising her children and wanted to return to her love of cooking, coming up with the idea of Yemek Kulubu.
She believes there will be much interest in the Turkish cookery club with many people in the UK having a wide ranging taste in various cuisines.
"Tastes have changed tremendously," she says "and people are finding out about Mexican, Spanish and Latin American food for example. I believe there is now much interest in the cuisines of Turkey and Anatolia."
Nur says she also wants to offer courses for children and help educate them with healthy eating, how to present food and how to buy fresh ingredients.
The Yemek Kulubu is based at the Cyprus Turkish Association's building at 34-35 D'Arblay Street, London W1F 8EY.
